Youth Program

The Permaculture Gathering is family friendly!
We enthusiastically invite kids ages 6-16 to join us for the 2016 Permaculture Gathering!! Since kids are the stewards of our future we have been dreaming and scheming about how to inspire more youth and families with children to come share their precious gifts with all of us.
Having the Gathering in the home of the Arthur Morgan School and next to Camp Celo makes it especially kid friendly! We have an awesome tree house to play in, the South Toe river to swim in and many wild plants to befriend and nibble on. This year we will be having set swim times each day, and all sorts of other possibilities including:
- games
- cooking
- medicine making
- singing
- crafting
- dancing
- hiking and exploring
- story telling
- afternoon snack and tea time
-costume play time and so much more!
Note: We generally require a minimum of 3 children, to offer a formal Youth Program.
Kids under age 5 need to be taken care of by their parents; options may be available for collaboration with other parents to get childcare needs met for the weekend.
