Work Trade & Sponsorships

The Gathering is made possible by many people, organizations, and businesses that apply the permaculture principle of sharing the surplus.

Our philosophy of sharing, combined with keeping our costs down, allows for the Gathering to be affordable.

Work Trade Policy

Work trade reduces the full weekend ticket price to $80.00 and includes Thursday night camping for those who are helping with set-up.

Work trade applications will be responded to by June 24th to allow a week for those who do not get a work exchange position,  to allow time for applicants to still be able to register with the Early Bird rates which end on July 1st.

Work trade positions are 4 hours of work in addition to the two hours work for the weekend which is required by all participants.  A total of 6 hours for the weekend.

All work trade positions are designated for those who want to attend all three days, and should plan to be available on Sunday for clean-up, starting at 3 pm, which all participants contribute to.

Work Trade Positions

  • 4 Kitchen Assistants

  • 1 Ceremony & Ritual

  • 1 Check-in Attendant

  • 1 Firewood Logistics

  • 1 Kids Program Assistant (2 if there is a large group)
